This process is a genuine attempt to engage in a meaningful consultation with the local community and we would politely ask anyone with an interest to provide comments. We are particularly keen to understand the views of local people on how the development could best fit with the character of the village and the surrounding landscape. Whilst I note that representations have been made objecting to the site, Shropshire Council are likely to approve the latest draft of the Local Plan for submission to the Planning Inspectorate for Examination in the coming weeks.
